Access Control Systems

Access control is widely used in all aspects of our lives - at home, the work place, parking and leisure facilities. Systems today have advanced and are now frequently used in conjunction with many other security systems and devices, such as CCTV systems, car park barrier automation, Ddoor entry, clocking in systems and Disabled access.

We have considerable experience of installing and maintaining Aaccess control systems in diverse environments, designing systems to each client's specific brief.

T. G. Baker (Sound) Ltd has installed complex systems in apartment blocks, care homes, factories, medical centres, offices and hospitals.

Mill Hill Community Centre

The local council approached T. G. Baker (Sound) Ltd to provide an access control solution for a local community centre following the unauthorized access to the building that resulted in damage to the property. Our mandate was to provide secure and controlled access to the building for multiple groups of people, all at varying times awith differing levels of access to various areas of the centre.

The installed system was based upon proximity fobs and readers, each programmed into diffrent time-zones with varying levels of access. This allowed certain groups full access whilst others only had restricted access. All information is stored centrally on a secure PC which logs all access activity. All changes and updates to the system are carried out quickly and simply via the PC, enabling lost or stolen cards to be deleted, group access times to be changed or door access levels reprogrammed without the need to reprograme the cards.

All these alterations could be carried out at the PC without the need for fob holders to be present.
